ON THE TRAIL

We had so much fun on Saturday morning doing the Garage Sale Trail with our beautiful friends Georgina and Kenya ....
we chose the Surry Hills / Darlinghurst area, but it is actually a nationwide day ...
Garage Sale Trail looks at making sustainability both fun & social by encouraging individuals and groups to clear out some unwanted clutter, meet their neighbors, grab a bargain and even make some extra money .....
such a great idea and who doesn't love a garage sale !!!

Here's some pics from our morning .....

unfortunately this great old couch already had a sold sign on it ....

Kenya having a little rest in-between sales ......

.... a very nice morning indeed !!!

Hope you had a nice weekend

What a great idea!! i love this. We have one day in the Netherlands, and that's on April the 30th, on Queensday. I wish it was more often, love to grab a bargain..

Hi Mandy, I had the best day ever in Surry Hills! Bought moderately (zero storage) but what I bought and who I bought from was the highlight! So many adorable, inexpensive things and so many happy, friendly people selling them. The perfect combo. Definitely on my "must do" list for next year. Pruxxx

The Go Away Garage is a real garage in Wichita Kansas. Mitch Willis started out building custom hot rods on West Street and now builds motorcycles at the joint on Commerce St.,
