STRING FIGURES

I found these photos here and was quite intrigued  ...... 

apparently  this wonderful teacher found it a great way of teaching the principles of maths and science in a fun and creative way and got a budding photography student to photograph the results ..... 








 ..... love the results but I think I'm loving the 70's nostalgia of the photographs even more
 So great !!!!!

Yeah, you've gotta love teachers that go the extra mile to make learning fun and interesting. She/he never could imagine photos of the project would turn up on a blog 30 something years later...and still inpiring.

I was taught to do a few things with string, I have shown my children, it makes it all fun! Mimi x

I used to do those string tricks with my sisters in the 70's when we were kids. They were fun and great for developing your memory for sequence..
