I could not be without frames, whether it is for artworks, family photographs or childhood paintings. I love them hung as a feature, in groups, sitting on shelves or just leaning against the wall. They look great matching or mismatched, in all different shapes, sizes and colours, old and new ..... you really can't go wrong.
Here is a selection of a few of my favorite looks.
Sometimes you don't actually need frames, I love these photographs pinned on this wall, such a great look.
These shots are from my own home, as you can see I really am very fond of frames, the first shot is my hallway which has become quite the gallery space over time ......
and I love this mix of artworks in my lounge room ..... the one bottom right is a drawing my daughter did when she was younger, it's one of my all time favorites.
and also these ones above the bookshelf .... (the drawing top left is another one of hers from the same time, (it was her girl drawing period) the frame is really old and so beautiful, you can see it up close in this post) .....
..... and I love these old family photographs in silver frames.
These ones are full of all different photographs of family, friends, dogs and travels ..... so special and better than having them hidden away in photo albums.
These are my favorite artworks of all, my sons first self portrait from kindergarten, my daughters family drawing and the divine painting of our house .... to me these are priceless works, I just adore them.
I have many more frames around my home, I even have frames in my bathroom and I really like this one, actually I love them all !!!
(please excuse the quality of these shots, I'm really in need of a new camera)
